Winning against all odds since 1965
1965 
I was born premature, weighing in at only 4.5 lbs, addicted to heroin, and was not expected to live. SPOILER: I did!
I was adopted by a loving family.
(Don't worry, I'm not taking you day by day, and year by year through my story.)
1986
I won my 1st of 3 cars. (Yep. 3! Keep reading.) $35,000 in cash and prizes on the TV show Break the Bank.
P.S. Aren’t you glad I fast-forwarded 22 years? 😂
1987
I became a financial analyst – way before I ever dreamed of being a business coach.
Best Blind Date Ever!
1991
I Married Mark. Fun fact: we met on a 72-hour blind date. 34+ years married and goin’ strong!
1995
I became a lawyer. (And yep, I still hold my legal license today!)
Time to Change My Destiny
2000
I quit law because my dad died. I was closing an $8.6 billion deal as a lead attorney when I had a gut feeling something was really wrong. I called to check on my dad, his nurse answered, and it was clear he didn’t have much time left. He could no longer speak. “Put the phone up to his ear,” I said. “Daddy, I’ll be there in 30 minutes.” I walked out on the deal and never regretted my choice. Daddy passed the next day.
It was my wake-up call. I realized: He was a workaholic, I was a workaholic. He ate crap, I ate crap. He smoked too much, I drank too much. I saw exactly how that train was going to crash, and I had one chance to get off. I knew if I did not make a change right then – that was my destiny.
For the first time in my life I gave myself permission to not work. Learned golf. Hung out with the country club wives enough to know I did NOT wanna turn out like them…
Seeds of entrepreneurship
2007
Mark came home from work and I said, “I want to take a bath”. Mark blinked, confused: “We don't have a bathtub.” Me: “I know – here's how we can get one!” (I shoved a paper toward him with my horrific sketch of the house we were gonna build.) We started building our house, and everyone kept asking, “Who is your designer?” So I went to design school and picked up a whole new set of entrepreneurial skills.
Our house was featured in Coastal Living Magazine. I ended up quitting because I knew interior design wasn’t my calling and because I didn’t like dealing with contractors (the only contractor I wanted to talk to, let alone sleep with was my husband.) So, I quit that.
But those entrepreneur seeds took root and kept growing…
All-In Like a Cannonball
2010
I decided to lose weight and became a spokesperson for Nutrisystem. Did fun business-y things like: Filmed an infomercial with Maria Osman, was on QVC 14 times, and Wolfgang Puck Co. came and filmed in my house so I could promote their oven.
“Oooh, that looks fun!”
2012 
I was watching a reality show on TV with Mark where they were showing the physical training - ya know, where the drill instructors are red-faced screaming at people to do more push-ups and climb over walls? – and I turned to Mark and said “Ooh, that looks like fun!"So I became a badge-wearing, gun-toting LA County Sheriff. This is where I learned what NOT to do when it comes to integrity in leadership. Tucked those lessons in my pocket and walked out the door…
Strategy to Up-Level:
Fail Faster
2012
I was a contestant on the game show “Wipeout”, the world’s largest extreme obstacle course. The fastest 12 to make it through the first round would level-up, so my goal was to FAIL FASTER so I could get to the next challenge before my competitors.
Started My Health Coaching Business
2014
I launched EatTrainWin. I decided to become a weight loss coach because I knew even as a confident, badass woman what weight loss did to my confidence. My learning curve with online business was NOT all rainbows and unicorns. In my first 2 years of being a health coach I LOST $88,000… talk about a money-sucking hobby! #FailFaster, right??
2014 
I wrote my first book at the exact same time I was launching my first course. Not because I thought I was Superwoman – it was pure ignorance. I had no idea how hard either of those were. Like having twin babies.
My First Six-Figure Year
2016
I gave myself an ultimatum: You got to get over all your sh*t and get out of your own way, and this either becomes a six-figure profitable business by the end of the year, or you have to quit coaching. And my love for coaching wouldn't let that happen. I became a profitable six-figure business.
2017
I beat out approximately 700 eligible entrepreneurs to win a Porsche Cayenne. People noticed I have a pattern of winning and accomplishing my goals, so I started training coaches with my Play to Win formula.
Fun fact: I sold my car the day before so the Universe would know I had space for the Porsche in my garage.
I Became the Health Coaches’ Coach
(On Accident. Kinda.)
2018 
I shifted to business coaching because of a single sentence I had never intended to say out loud. It happened when I stood on Jack Canfield's stage and said “I'm on a mission to help women lose 1 million pounds.” All of a sudden I had 110 health coaches to coach and the Client Creator Playbook was born.
I went all in with Coach Christie Miller and business coaching. The best part? Everything I learned about marketing and business completely transferred over. So I was able to accelerate my path to six figures faster.
First Six-Figure Launch
2019
We had our first six-figure launch in August 2019.
Team Miller Was Born!
2020 
Jayne, our rockstar Client WINjaneer, was hired full-time. (After her previous boss discovered her password “I quit 2020”)
2021
Business as usual. Won my 3rd car - a Tesla - as the top affiliate for SamCart.

Started the Game Changers Membership for the coolest health coaches on the planet.
Cancer is a Gift
2022 
Hello stage 3 breast cancer! I declared cancer is a gift and saw it as an invitation to shift. But this time, the shift wasn't to a new career. It was changing my operating system – time to simplify my business!
Because I finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up – and that's a coach. (And that doesn't mean I’m growing up!)

Fun
I don’t do boring.
For me, boredom is the equivalent of depression. I always want to know what's next. It's not that I'm not loving what's happening in the moment. But I'm like, Oooh, now what can I achieve?? Also - I make fun of myself (have you met “Granny” on my Instagram?) Fair warning: If you take yourself too seriously you probably wanna run the other way.
Spirituality
I'm probably the world's best sign reader.
I'm always looking for signs that we're on the right path that we're doing what we're supposed to do, and I can literally make a sign out of anything. My intuition has never led me wrong and it played a big role in the route I’ve chosen to kick cancer’s butt. More on that story here.
Creativity
We have so much inside of us.
And if we don't get it out in the world, what good is it? I’m a genius at creating content, programs, and templates that save you a ton of time and frustration on your entrepreneurial journey, but I also happen to be a BOSS at making poop emoji statues out of brown sea glass. And balloon animals. See? Unlimited creativity.
Growth
I’m obsessed with learning.
My Daddy wanted to learn until the day he died, and I totally have that gene even though I'm adopted. I continue to invest tens of thousands of dollars into my personal and business growth every year, and I bring it alllllll to the table to help you grow your business. P.S. I’m learning to juggle right now and I’m getting pretty darn good!
Integrity
Do what you say and say what you'll do.
The world is so full of sh*t. We need to be able to count on people. I’m not saying I’m perfect – but I will do what I say I will do. I will give you honest feedback because I believe: Clear is kind. And I am very good at recognizing Do you need a soft shoulder to cry on and a hug? Or do you need a kick in the ass? Whichever will benefit you most, you're gonna get it.
Connection
Life is a team sport.
The highs are higher, and the lows are less low when we have people on our team to just love and support us. And it's not a one-way street. It's got to go both ways. (Not to mention that entrepreneurship can be the loneliest road in the world, because we're all crazy as f*ck and no one understands what we're doing.)
